What to know about camel safari, jeep safari, and desert camp stays before you book.
Camel safari is a slower, quieter ride across the dunes, usually timed for sunset. Jeep safari is faster and more adventurous, with off-road dune bashing in a 4x4. Many guests do both on the same evening.
Camel safari is generally comfortable for most ages, including children and older travellers. Jeep safari's dune bashing is more physically active, so let us know your group's preferences and we'll suggest what suits you best.
Light, breathable clothing with sun protection during the day, and a warm layer for the evening — desert temperatures drop quickly after sunset, especially in winter. Comfortable closed shoes are recommended for jeep safaris.
